Meatloaf

This is an easy tasty meatloaf.

Makes 6 to 8 servings

Ingredients (Loaf)
  • 2 cups of Bread Crumbs
  • 1 medium Onion (chopped)
  • 1 medium Red Pepper (chopped)
  • 2 Cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 lbs Ground Veal (or pork)
  • 1 1/2 lbs Ground Beef (or lamb)
  • 2 Tablespoons Horseradish
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 3/4 cup Ketchup
Ingredients (Sauce)
  • 3/4 cup Ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Hot Mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon Dry Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (~205 degrees C).
  2. Prepare bread crumbs, onions, and red pepper.
  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs slightly and mix in ground meat, bread crumbs, onions, and red peppers
  4. After mixture is well blended, ad horseradish, salt, dry mustard, milk and ketchup to bowl
  5. Lightly mix and shape into loaf
  6. Place loaf in a cooking dish (with space around loaf), indent the top of the loaf
  7. Mix all sauce ingredients together and coat the loaf. Use excess to fill the indentation in the top
  8. Bake in bottom rack of oven for 1 hour
